Hi Doreen, I am stumped too, I did see some dark dark chasms when I went to the Mulu caves in Borneo. I suppose the darkness will cause chaos.

  1. If memory serves me right the Greek word chaos refers to the state the world was in before creation... Your cave pictures seem like good illustrations.

  3. My mind sure to go into chaotic panic state if I'm there in the darkness!
Looks like the photo link at FMTSO is down, can't see any at all. Perhaps server's down, quiet a numbers of sites I can't access at all...maybe due to the earthquake and tsunami that strike Japan a few hours ago?

  5. Now that is chaos. No way for me to figure it out. So as I mentioned to someone else what looks like chaos may be an orderly mess up. LOL Blessings

  6. The inside of a cave, an interesting choice for the theme. Intersecting tunnels in a cave can seem quite chaotic.

  7. oooh it is an abyss alright. I'm glad you didn't step into it; one thing I've never had a desire for is spelunking.

  11. An interesting cave. Chaos and devastation are on my mind having seen the devastation in Japan. I heard there is a tsunami warning for new zealand as well. Keep safe

  13. I think I am claustrophobic I get panicky when I see the photo. About my photo-chaos, yes that is true one time our shipping lines has the tendency to overload and it caused the ship to capsized. I think today the big shipping lines are careful not to overload but for small time shipping lines I don't think they follow it. So sometimes it's scary.
    Happy weekend!
