Surfing lessons at Omaha beach. It will certainly be useful if you have arms and legs to surf.
My 15 year old was so happy with Simon the instructor that he wants to go back for more lessons. http://www.surfaris.co.nz/
Jessie is my sister Grace's daughter. She lives in Singapore. Thomas is my other sister Helen's son. He lives in Australia. Every few years, they visit. Here they are playing a touching game.

Surfing is an interesting activity. The Kiwis are outdoor people. Wife and I just came back from NZ. We cannot help noticing cars towing motorboats, kayaks, caravans, etc all heading for the beaches.
ReplyDeleteBtw we were kayaking at Russel island. Good summer.
ReplyDeleteVery cute, you are lucky to live so close to the beach!
ReplyDeleteLearning to surf has been one of my plans for what seems like ages now...I hope i'll have time for lessons this summer...
ReplyDeleteIt is great that your son has really enjoyed his surfing lessons. It is wonderful to learn a lot of things while you are so young. Great pic's, have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeleteIn Christchurch at the beach there are a lot of places were you can learn to surf. Kids grow up with it and become really good at it
ReplyDeleteCute kids
I think I'll stick to internet surfing... Good photos for the arms-and-legs-theme! :)
ReplyDeleteI like to watch them, it's a very nice sport. My son does it too and diving ! and Mr. G and I we are not sportive at all !!
ReplyDeleteNone of my sons surf, anyway the waves here are not big like in NZ...
ReplyDeleteI think that I could do that! At least as long as I stayed on the beach and didn't go in the water!
ReplyDeleteNever got to learn to surf but sure did my share of water skiing. Only lakes near me and no waves to surf on. Great photos.

ReplyDeleteSurfing was one of my passions when I was younger, am too slow and unbalanced for it now. Love the shot of the tangled cousins!
ReplyDeleteSurfing lessons would be fun.
ReplyDeleteYap, Singapore is always changing! too fast I must say...now too many foreigners and it's crowded everywhere!
