I have never heard of the rule of thirds and had to read about it on your link. Yikes, I have enough trouble just finding one good thing in the viewfinder, let alone all this dividing stuff, I just snap something petty. Guess you must be a better photographer than me to use this rule.
Ditto to what Ginny said. I've never heard of rule of thirds....interesting link too. thanks for sharing Dick Clark made an eternal impact on the music world and it is no telling how many musicians owe their careers to him. Hugs Madi and Mom

Wow, Ann your post is short and sweet. I really like your beach shot and think it shows the rule of thirds perfectly. Very nice.
ReplyDeleteI think your beach shot is just perfect for the rule, Ann.
ReplyDeleteNicely done, Ann. I especially like how you applied the rule to the last one to bring the focus to the kids.
ReplyDeleteI love that second shot best!
ReplyDeleteI'm with Ginny - I like to just snap what I see that pleases me, and sometimes I get lucky with a great shot. have a great week.
ReplyDeleteI think the line of people on the beach follow the 1/3 line. :)
