No passenger trains here but two entertainment trains. One a dinner train and the other a train ride at the train museum. I wish we had a train line into the city. QMM
I love the fact that you caught two forms of transportation -- RV and bike in one picture. By the way, when I clicked your link on the Shootout page, it redirected me to the shootout page instead of your blog so I had to come find it. You might want to relink it unless I am the only one who had that problem.
I am like Mark I went THREE times to the wrong link before I figured out it was the wrong link. and found the right one. I think you and only you can delete the wrong one.... doesn't really matter was a good exercise for me to find my way out of the maze.... love the trains and yes all the towns that don't have a train system are missing out. hugs
Ann - I just noted on your side panel that you have written a book. Congratulations I admire anyone who can get their thoughts together and really write down their thoughts.
When we were in Christ Church years ago, we rented a campervan to travel between towns. It was a wonderful experience for the whole family.
ReplyDeletei wish we had a train here in Las Vegas. It would reduce a lot of stress for a lot of people.

Wow - you have REAL public transportation! It looks like you were shooting down at the trains...were you up in a building or on a bridge?
ReplyDeleteThe train looks very streamlined and clean!

ReplyDeleteOh - sorry - I see you already fixed it. I'm so focused I only look at one link a a time.

ReplyDeleteYou have very minimalist train stops. I haven't tried a camper van but an idea has entered my head. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteWith the prices of fuel nowadays, it is important to have a good transportation system. Great post, Ann!
ReplyDeleteTrains, trams, light rail and buses, yet still we complain about them.
ReplyDeleteI like the camper van with the bikes, Ann. Freight trains pass through the back of our farm but no passenger trains unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteAuckland is very spaced out, and public transport is not very convenient, many people prefer to drive their own car.
