I was in Canada, at the university of Windsor when I was exposed to women's right. Helen Reddy's song I am woman became our anthem. We denounced the beauty contests.
I love Helen Reddy, there's a song that she wrote and performed in a film called Pete's Dragon, with Mickey Rooney in it but I can't remember what it's called, will have to go over to Rog's site and check it out...I always liked 'I am woman@, great song. Best wishes, Di, ABCW team.
