Easter: The Christian Message
On Wednesday, at the Mt Albert Baptist Church ESOL class, we had a special Easter morning. We set up a visual table, and invited our Ministries Pastor, Arthur Warner to talk to our students. We served hot cross buns at morning tea.
This was an eye opening event, as we have students from many nationalities and ethnic background. We have Muslims, Buddhist, Hindus and free thinkers. We showed to them that Easter is not just about Easter Chocolate eggs and Easter bunnies.
I normally participate in the Friday Shootout meme, but this Friday, I am opting out. The challenge is too difficult for me.
Happy Easter.

What an excellent object lesson. I may borrow it. So nice to see the gospel presented in a simple way. Easter blessings to you and your family.

The challenge of this BOKEH photography style, in Japanese, it means blur. I couldn't follow the instructions so I gave up.
It kept think about the Sultan of Brunei Bolkiah.
Happy Easter :D.
Hey there!
Haha, i know this little 'story' about having Jesus be the bridge between people and God. I've been told this story like two or three times by different Christians I encountered.
That Hot Cross Bun looks yummy and it's interesting to see people coming together from different background. You gotta love the diversity!
