My world Tuesday/Outdoor Wednesday

I went with my son for a picnic lunch at Potter's park in Balmoral yesterday. The sun was shining but it was freezing cold. It was heartening to see many families coming out to enjoy the sun when it is forecast that it would rain soon. When it rains in Auckland in Winter, it buckets.
I went to photograph the pigeons flying overhead, but I couldn't. Instead I captured this lovely photo. A grand dad with a grand child feeding the pigeons and sea gulls.

It is lovely to see two generations together...and doing something beautiful like this. The image makes me happy today. There is so much hope still in life! Thanks.
It is nice to see all of the birds. It always seems strange that you are in winter now!
Look at all the piegeons to feed. Lucky little boy to have grandfather escort his fun.
I send you sunshine and warm air. It has been so hot in the 90's here, and the rains make it so humid. At least there is not 5 ft. of snow. Do you get snow in your winter or just the rains?

wow, so many pigeons on the ground!
You captured a very special moment in time! Very special. I would like to see a picture of you and your son having the picnic, though!
I don't mind the pigeons in the park but not in HDB estates, they dirtied our laundry! residents are not encouraged to feed these pigeons but I see some are still doing it.
A beautiful moment of grandpa and child capture here. I have not been able to photograph pigeons successfully yet too.
Living in a rainy country I know what that means, lol !
lovely to capture family enjoying time together.
i loves the call of the sea gulls - means something special for me....
Hi Ann,
Your photo is very sweet, it's always nice to see a small child with an older person, isn't it. Such an important relationship.
You have visited my blog before, perhaps your comments were not visible because I had "more than two day old comment moderation" turned on and I was not moderating the comments. I didn't know how to. I figured it out today and I found your latest comment. Thank you for visiting me and I apologize for the mistake. I love comments and making new friends in the blog world. So nice to hear that you have been to Canada and enjoyed it. I love Canada, I was born in the USA, but have spent most of my life here and I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Hugs, Cindy S
