FSO: Thankful, Don and Olwyn Dickson

Member Voice for December 3 - Thankful!

December already? Well, in a few days it will be. The theme for December 3rd is, in general, what are people most thankful for in your town?

This can be a variety of meanings to everyone. This could be a person, an event, a building, what a group of people are doing in the town, gifts to the town, etc. Or personally, what are you most thankful for in your town.

Definitions of Thankful ........

a positive emotion or attitude in acknowledgment of a benefit that one has received or will receive

feeling or expressing gratitude; appreciative.

Many of you who have been reading my posts, will remember that my son Andrew was born in September and died in November twenty one years ago. We were living in New Zealand away from our immediate family. The person I am most thankful for is Olwyn Dickson. She was there for me 24/7, and since my mum had died twenty months earlier, and she said to me, " I am now your mum."

I am thankful for Don but it is Olwyn I am most thankful for.

You posted this two days ago? It didn't show up on my sidebar till right now! They must be such a loving couple, isn't it wonderful that there are people like this out there when we are going through a crisis?
