outdoor wednesday: Maori information stand
http://asoutherndaydreamer.blogspot.com
While I made a detour, the water engineer and Sam waited for me at this unusual New Zealand Maori information stand. They are circular and only half of the sides are walled in. You can see the pole with the protecting cravings.

The stand is very unusual. I see I missed your two last posts, also. But I have just read them now. I loved all your Christmas tree memories. It is so sad about the little puppy. We never had a Christmas tree growing up, my family was a religion that didn't believe in celebrating Christmas. The other school children didn't understand! Since I wasn't Jewish, they thought It was weird that we had no tree. The first time I got to have a tree was when I was married and had my own place.
Ann, it is similiar to the information stands that we have here in our parks. I like your cute little tree below. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Looks very authentic.
Very interesting. I like circular buildings/structures.
Thank you again for sharing some of interesting things in your area. I find them all fascinating.
