ABC Wed, letter G for gannets


From August to March each year you can watch the comings and goings of a busy gannet colony. It's hugely entertaining. These gannets pair for life, and every year, they fly from Australia to New Zealand, lay eggs , hatch the babies and fly back to Australia.

very interesting and nice photos! I wonder about the Geese you mentioned in your comment to me. We also have far too many of them now on our farm fields and they do cull them I think.
