There is a Chinese saying, hwo de Lau, xue de lau," translated Growing old, and continue to learn.
My ESOL students are epitome of this, You see the woman in blue. She is Ana from El Salvador. She is a widow, and she had a stroke. Rain or shine, she drives her mobility scooter and comes to my class, participates in discussion and does her home work. It is for students like Ana that makes me go to teach.
