Sam's primary school. The design has people asking," Is it a bird or is it a boat?" It's hard to tell depending on which direction you are looking from. Edendale Primary School was established in 1909.
I took part in one of the cultural day celebration, and I was impressed with the generosity of the Indian communities who donated so much curry and samosas I was impressed also by the willingness of the people to buy the food even though it was $4 for a small potion. It was something I wrote back to my friends in Singapore.
During the 2008 General Election, this was where I went to cast my vote in the school hall.
