Friday My Town Shoot Out for 6/1: Rule of Space

This is a new lesson to me. I always thought I must always take as closeup as possible. Looking now, it does make sense. I enjoyed this lesson like the 1/3 which I try to apply.  Thanks, Rebecca.

Friday My Town Shoot Out for 6/1: Rule of Space

The Rule of Space says that you will create a more pleasing image
by giving the subject space in which to move.

airplanes, birds and boats are all good examples - we are normally farther away and can place them in the lens either coming or going. Most of my photo also tend to be close up to the subject.... more portraits than anything elso. Ann, Have a nice week.

I think you really captured it with the first one - you left the construction equipment a lot of room to raise and lower the big mechanical arm :)
