These are good but that vibrant baby is better. Have a great week. Ginger
What a fun decorating idea!
We have umbrellas as ceiling decorations in Chinatown here too, I love the bright colours!
Shin Yee Chiew Old forks will not patronise this restaurant - bad omen to open an umbrella inside a house! It's a tradition to keep an umbrella beside a corpse just in case there's a thunder storm. And pple uses the umbrella to shelter the head of the dead during a thunder storm. Otherwise, the corpse could sit up and do a dance.

Ann Chin LOL, that is why HOW SAN ZAI don't know. I wrote on another forum, not to, but I didn't know why. Honestly, we went there because another restaurant was closed. It was a lousy place but the price was incredible.
Lynn Hannan Ann Chin, I heard the same thing, too, about the superstitious belief about bad luck to open umbrella in a home. I didn't hear about the deceased sitting up, though. The umbrellas are pretty, Ann! I wonder if anyone told the owners about the superstitious belief about opening umbrellas inside..
