Little India in Auckland



There is a "Little India" in Sandringham and Mt Roskil, Auckland. This is a Sikh temple, and is a landmark of this area.


Bharatiya Mandir Indian Temple is at Balmoral Road.

orange or actually saffron is the sacred color for hindus, hence you will find these color flags flying atop most temples and even the 'sadhus' would be wearing saffron robes.
