Mint Lemonade
Imagine picking your own mint leaves and plucking your lemon from your tree, and with a teaspoon of organic honey. You now have a glass of refreshing drink in a hot summer afternoon.
Or in winter, make it hot with a cup of tea. For an extra zing, add a slice of ginger.
These pix show my mint plant and lemon tree. The tree is not in season, otherwise it is laden with fruits.
***Malaysian reader's comment: The mints you have in the garden can make cooling mint & ikan bilis soup, also add a beaten egg to it. (tan fah, egg flower)***
