sunday stills: Boots or shoes

Do you remember watching Ally McBeal? These shoes are the secret to her success.

Law is in my blood, my dad really wanted to become a lawyer, but he was too poor to study to become one, so he got a scholarship to be an educator. But his descendants are lawyers and these shoes belong to one of them. When she walks into court, people turn heads.

This pair of winter leather boots are so comfortable that you don't feel like wearing anything on your feet. It is easy to put on and take off. You slip in your feet like slipping into a pair of slippers.

If these brown boots are scruffy, they are. I had tramped in the jungles and caves of Borneo, sloshed in the snow of New Zealand, and I am too attached to throw them out.

There is another pair of shoes I wish I had a photo. In fact I wish I had bronzed them. It was the pair of New Balance running shoes I trained in and ran my 10km Marathon. LOL

Very nice selection. Those high heels bring back lots of memories to me when I was able to wear them. :)

Those high heel shoes, are those your daughter? I remembered reading about her taking up law...
You're right, tobasco sauce is consider mild compared to the hot chilli padi, to us Asian. Can't do without chilli even for a day.
I know some Indians love to eat raw green chillies with rice.

Were you affected by the earthquake?

Jama,

My daughter is 5ft 9in. She doesn't need the lawyerly power shoes. They belong to my niece.

Dibear,
I agree with you, the last time I wore stiletto shoes was before I had children. Now comfry is the way to go for a teacher. My heeless boots is just right.

I am in Auckland, very far away from Christchurch. We were not hit. Today, I carried out earthquake exercises with the kids.

I love beautiful, open toed, high heeled shoes. Alas, I can't wear them anymore.... two old and bad feet. But I remember them well and how they made me feel...beautiful. I still get pedicures though. My one indulgence for my feet, even if they are in a pair of boots.

The boots look fine Ann, but those shoes with pointed heels look treacherous! - Dave

Wow! What a great collection of shoes. I particularly loved the power lawyer spikes though my toes ache just looking at them.

I'm not much of a high heel girl, but have had my share of hiking boots. My current ones are really getting worn and I am worried that the sole may fall off one of these days--good thing I carry duct tape in my pack. You must get to do a lot of wonderful hiking in New Zealand.

I could never wear high heels. Too much of a country girl. I love the boots, though!

OMG ! If I would have worn such high heels I would have been a giant ! I couldn't walk on those !
I used to wear high heals but not such big once !
Since I don't work anymore comfort is the first thing which counts !

The high heels looks stylish and pretty, but I like the winter boots best :)
I'm to the age where if there is a choice between style and comfort, I go for comfort!
