My World Tuesday/Thursday Theme Song:
http://showyourworld.blogspot.com/
hootin--anni has a new meme.
IT'S ALL ABOUT MY NEW MEME THAT I HOPE SOME WILL FEEL LIKE JOINING IN ON THE CHALLENGE AND THE FUN [at least I hope the weekly challenge will be fun!]. It's loosely based on song lyrics [recorded songs since the beginning of time to today] and associating them with photos of yours...as I've done in the http://www.blogger.com/img/blank.gifpast...If you click on the link above, it'll take you to the Meme's Homepage for rules and buttons. There will be a Mr. Linky Widget for each individual week also. Do consider joining me sometime. Hope to see it flourish in time.

I saw this woman truck driver and knew I had to do a post on her. It was raining, that was why the photos are not clear. She was parking at a carpark, and whilst waitng , she was reading a book. To Ed, I should have got her phone for you.
Norma Jean - Truck Driving Woman
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xg3rzjRP_4k
A little boy is what my daddy wanted a little girl just didn't fit his plans
To help him on the road when he was on it cause daddy was a truck drivin' man
So I was raised on truck drivin' stories I know every legend of the road
From Phantom 309 in all its glory to the widow maker's truck drivin' cold
And I'm a truck drivin' woman my daddy taught me everything he knew
I'm a truck drivin' woman and this woman's gonna fill her daddy's shoes
[ guitar ]
So if you boys still think you cannot run me
Just ask the Greyhounds I've left even dust
You've gotta travel fast to make big money and when I go I giddyup go or bust
And I'm a truck drivin' woman...
And this woman's gonna fill her daddy's shoes

I see her in there reading! Too bad that parents sometimes make their children live out their dreams instead of letting them go their own way.
It beats sitting around doing nothing..:-))
nice lyrics!
Excellent pictures to go with the song!
I've known some truck-driving women, and they certainly didn't look like truck-driving men!
I used to think it would be fun to try driving one of those big rigs, but I don't think so any more.
