These boys were on top of One Tree Hill when we climbed up there. They were very polite and greeted us, "Konichiwa." They must have thought we were Japanese tourists with our faces partially hidden by our wide brim hats and sunnies.
When we walked to another area of the park, the boys were down at the deep volcanic crater and moving the exisiting volcanic rocks redesigning what some other brave people had designed. There was no sign saying one can't go down the crater as in Mt Eden. I bet Sam would be very happy to join the boys, but Sam didn't go with us.
