On top of Mt Eden Volcano, is this metal disc which tells you how far you are from most cities in the world. This is very popular with tourists.
These are sheep shearing machines. There are more sheep than humans in New Zealand.
In Downtown Auckland, is an ultra modern building. Little kids are intriqued by the revolving door.

The only revolving door we still have is at the Fullerton Hotel, the old charming refurbished building. Somehow they automated it, one don't have to push it open like previously.

Not too many revolving doors here in Germany, but in Holland at one of the stores that I like to shop in, there is a huge revolving door. I don't like to use it though, it scares me since it never stops and you just have to jump in when you find your chance! My favorite picture is the rack of collectors' spoons! We used to have one just like it hanging in our diningroom and it was filled with spoons from all over the world, either from travels that my parents had made, or friends and family had been someplace and gave a spoon to add to the growing collection. Ann, to go Alexandra Arch and the HortPark, the nearest mrt would be the Harbourfront. But still need to take the bus, about 5-6 stops away. From Alexandra Arch one could walk all the way to Henderson Bridge,but it's a long elevated walk, around 1 hours.
Do let me know when you're coming to Singapore again, we can meet up.
