Everything looks so beautiful. Our spring has been late in coming and the rains are just ruining everything. But I guess soon we will be complaining about hot hot or how dry it is.
Thanks for the tour. I love that statue. Photos are great.
Robyn, I tried to leave a comment on your blog, but couldn't. We have flowers here everyday, and I feel sorry for you all in the Cold Alaska. When I was in canada, by the end of February, I was so tired of the slush and wet weather.
I am like you, I like to go to the nursery to feast my eyes on the beautiful flowers..
I can understand well that you love this place! I hope to be able to go to Auckland once. I was only on the South Island for three weeks. Thanks for your visite and comment about your son. You are right we have to go on. I haven't seen my son for 11 years.
Lovely Ann........just lovely!! Those yellow Angel Trumpets in the 2nd snap are magnificent. Those are my very favorite flower's in the world and you've made my day by posting them my dear!! Sorry I just sent out your shirt today........I have been inundated with catering which is a good thing, no? Love it, love it, love it.....cooking and gardening are my passions. Have an EXTREME weekend my friend and........
I love the wonderful gardens in Auckland and would love to visit again. My daughter is planning to take me to New Zealand when the Peonies and Roses are flowering. Unfortunatle I can no longer fly so have a bit of planning to do to go by water.

Beautiful garden! Enjoy your nephew visit! Have fun.
Winter Gardens are what Toronto needs more than anything.
You have such beautiful diverse species in New Zealand.
However I'm having trouble convincing my wife that what we need a nipple plant in our garden.
How fortunate to have such a beautiful spot to retreat to on a cold winter's day. Lovely
What a wonderful place to find shelter from inclement weather.
How nice that your daughter get's to experience the magic of gardens.
I shot from a conservatory as well. In Chicago, our nice weather is limited, so we have to build indoor places to run into to keep our sanity.
Lovely Ann........just lovely!!

Hi Ann
NoPham is Vietnamese name. It's a combination of my husband initial and my last name. Sorry to hear about your nephew. Honey is the best medicine.
Thank you for making my morning. What a way to start the day!
It has a Fernery! How completely AWESOME is THAT?!
I loved the lily pads! Just beautiful!

Really enjoy the gardens - and communities - from all around the world.
Never get enough of the National Botanic Garden. So much specatular life to see.
Thanks for the tour.
Hi Ann,
Yes, you're right, the Conservatory in Auckland and the one here in Detroit look similar to one another.
Yours seem to have more plants and trees than mine. Beautiful place.
