Nasturtiums grow wild in Auckland. They are pretty. Both leaves and flowers are edible but has a strong peppery taste a bit like the Japanese wasabi. Put in a salad, it gives a beautiful colour of red, orange and yellow.  The leaves when chewed raw will help clear a stuffy nose.
