The water engineer went on a long trip to the desert and he was very interested in this pillar formation. He rung me.
I asked ," What are the pinnacles?"
They are thousands of eerie limestone pillars, up to 4m tall form the Pinnacles Desert. The moonscape scenery is made by the pillars rising out of the stark desert landscape of yellow quartz sand.
He came home to show me lots of photographs and these are only some of them.
