The waterways in the Gold Coast.
You need to go through a barrage to get to the sea. It is a structure where boats can go in and out. I always remember my Aussie teacher Mr. Gregory trying hard to explain to us how Panama Canal work. Now the water engineer is explaining to me. The Panama and the Suez Canals are barrages on a big scale. Basically the water level is not the same, especially during the tide.
Joseph took me in his boat through the barrage, and Audrey was helping him. It wasn't an easy task.
On the next pix you see a bridge and also a small jetty.
You can guess, these pix are taken by the water engineer.
