Slip, slop, slap, wrap, and slide: Hats
SLIP: wear loose and long sleeved clothes, collar tops to prevent sun burn
SLOP: on all our skin, slop generously UV sun screen
SLAP: a wide brim hat
WRAP: sunnies or sunglasses
SLIDE: under the shade under sun umbrellas or trees
If boys don't like hats, they can always wear caps.
The water engineer really likes his "Japanese" cap. The flap at the back prevents the back of his neck from getting sunburnt.
Sam's summer uniform has a wide brim hat. So do the kids in my school and the teachers who supervise the kids at play time and lunch time.
Do you think this is necessary?
