What yhou told about the racial fights is terrible to expterience for grownups let alone for children. I also grew up in a mixed society in Indonesia and I never had these feelings of discriminations against each other. Only during the war and shortly after the war I felt the hatred of the Indonesian people, because I was white and a child of colonists. The thing is I didn't know about colonism or religious differences.
