Permaculture

I made a very interesting friend from Hungary via a friend from church.  Baji Béla is interested in permaculture.  I share 2 of his photos he sent to my facebook.
Permaculture is a branch of ecological designecological engineering, and environmental design which develops sustainablearchitecture and self-maintained horticultural systems modeled from natural ecosystems.[1][2]
The core ethics of permaculture are:[3][4]
  • Take care of the earth: Provision for all life systems to continue and multiply. This is the first principle, because without a healthy earth, humans cannot flourish.
  • Take care of the people: Provision for people to access those resources necessary for their existence.
  • Share the surplus: Healthy natural systems use outputs from each element to nourish others. We humans can do the same. By governing our own needs, we can set resources aside to further the above principles.

Hello Ann! Last weekend I was in a remote place of the great plain of Hungary. The leading people of the Hungarian permaculture had a convergence. The houses are getting abandoned on such rural site. But typically young people wishing to live a life more close to the Nature, buy such houses, renovate them. I'm sending you some pictures of the landscape, and their house being on halfway in renovating.
