Happy Father's day
Yesterday was Father's day in New Zealand. Our church had a pancake brunch and a special panel of men discussing their role as fathers and men in todays' society. Most summed it up as responsibility for their wives and children. Children dressed up as their dads complete with tools, hard hats and stethoscopes. After church service, there was a sausage sizzle.
Here's the water engineering taking Sam at the Whakapapa ski field for a fun time. It is good that father and son can have fun.

Happy Father's Day to all the men in New Zealand!
Men still have a vital role to play in their families and society, it's just no longer a "special" place segregated out and made unique only to them.
But men do bring a special perspective and energy that needs to be recognized and celebrated. At least once a year.
Way to go guys!
Happy Fathers day to all the dads in NZ!
Men are important role models for sons, they have a different "take" on life to their female counterparts which compliment each other.
Dads rock!
Happy FAther's Day!! Nothing like good father and son bonding :P
Happy father's day to the dads in NZ! over here we celebrated them on the 14th June.
How interesting that you celebrate Fathers Day in September. I thought it was universally celebrated in June. Fathers are so important in the lives of their children but their role and I am glad to see many young fathers who do more active parenting.
Hi Just had a bit of time to read a bit from your blog which I hope to read more in the near future.
Glad we made contact...thanks.
It is fasting month now in Malaysia.
I do support fathers taking a more active role.
Wow, snow! Looks like a fun time for everyone!
