Palm Oil and Green Peace.
Greenpeace
As I sit blogging away, the television is announcing that fourteen Greenpeace New Zealand activists are charged in court for illegally boarding the Hong Kong-registered ship East Ambition and preventing the unloading at Tauranga's port on schedule yesterday morning.
vessel. I am not an activist but I sympathize with some of their cause.
Dairy giant FonterraDairy giant Fonterra, remember the China tainted milk, is refusing to limit its use of foreign palm kernel animal feed.
The protesters lashed themselves to the container ship to draw attention to harmful imports. Dom Zapata and Sara Borrero tied themselves to the anchor chain and the pilot ladder, bearing signs that read "Fonterra Climate Crime". I wonder the boy friend I met last December is involved. I think he probably is.

Green Peace activists are brave people! I still remember vividly what happened to the Rainbow Warrior. The sinking of the Rainbow Warrior, codenamed Opération Sataniquewas an operation by the "action" branch of the French foreign intelligence services, the Direction Générale de la Sécurité Extérieure (DGSE), carried out on July 10, 1985. It aimed to sink the flagship of the Greenpeace fleet, the Rainbow Warrior in the port of Auckland, New Zealand, to prevent her from interfering in a nuclear test in Moruroa.
I was a member of a peace movement and against the nucleair tests all over the world. We were all terribly shocked by this action of the French, which killed GP activist.
Ka Pai, good job Reader Wil. I remember that incident very well.
That is a good action taken. There is a need to save the environment from the harmful and harsh realities of the nature. If we do not act now then nature may just remain barren in some years.
