Sunday Stills Challenge-Summer
Posted in Sunday Stills, Sunday Stills Challenge of the Week on July 11, 2010 by Linda

I’ve had summertime songs running through my head all week so I’ve chosen “Summer” as this weeks challenge. What pictures does that word conjure up in your mind? A pitcher of lemonade covered in condensation? Water skiing on the lake ? Sitting on a beach? Let’s see your summer in pictures!

I love this theme, as we are freezing here. On Friday, our car's windscreen had a layer of ice. Some of you have been wondering why I am talking about winter. I live in New Zealand which is in the Southern hemisphere and the country nearest to Antarctica.

Last Decemeber, and January, I spent five glorious summery weeks in Australia with my siblings. The warmth of the whanau aka family and the weather made it a really great time.

I am dreaming of summer too in winter ! I hate winters, for them moment it's wonderful here, 25 to 30°C just perfect and whenever I can I go to the see which is only 120 km far.

All the colorful rafts, the parrots, the sculpture, I love this post and the joy and color in it. But mostly it is a post full of joy. Thank you for reminding me where you live. I had forgotten. I like to know where all my blog friends live, and I have written this down now. Do you have equal amounts of summer and winter? And how soon does it get dark? It is very interestin comparing notes with my friend in Sweden. So it's really cold there? It's been over 100 here last week!

Thank you for visit my blog. About your doubts I say that the water in the waterspout flow stop at night. The rust is a reflection caused by gold plate used in a photography class to show students the effects of it.

Its summer here. We are experiencing such humidity that its uncomfortable. We usually don't experience that here in Maine. But the flowers are blooming and gardens growing nicely.

It is so good to have placeswhere children can enjoy their childhood - creating memories for later life!!
