On the Gold Coast, the council was trying to re vegetate the beach and protect their dunes. It can only succeed when people co-operate. Eveyone should do their bit.

So, the grass keeps the dune from blowin' away??? Sorry, we don't have any dunes on the Ponderosa.

God bless ya and have the most magnificent day sweetie!!!

We have grass in the dunes along the Belgian coast, but it cuts and is not very pleasant ! Only sand is more comfortable !

I never heard of this, but I'm glad that someone cares and is trying to help.

I agree with you! It's very important to revegetate beaches again. In my country it's a kind of protection to have vegetation on the dunes, which will disappear after a gale with the result that the land behind the dunes will be flooded.
