It's a hot summer. I hope no one is stupid to light a fire.

And yet, they always do. We have many forest fires around here, because we live by the Shennandoah National Forest. We also have ones who start fires on purpose.

Good one It is indeed hot and dry. Here all the hills are brown, not much green to see anymore.

Yes many of our trees here have dried up for another reasons -- because the water table has risen due to poor draining.....and we have patches and patches of dried up oil palm trees even (apparently they have to be killed at a certain age).
Reminds us that life is so fragile.
