Sunday Stills: Farm animals, not the usual kind.

Sunday Stills, the next challenge: Farm animals, not the usual kind.

Old farmer Ed wants to start a farm,
But he wants only the unusual animals.
So he sent messengers all over the world to scour for these animals.

Here reporting from New Zealand, a farming country, I scoured the whole country, and found these 3 animals:
1: a silky feather Poland hen, which is highly desirable by the Chinese.
2: Ostrich which is the rave in the healthy eating gourmet lot.
3: Finally for greenies, no need for gas. Hee Haw!

Yes they are unusual farm animals. All very interesting!

Thanks for your comment on the boats I saw on Lake Baringo. I've learned that the boats are made from balsa wood and I see that they are tied together with some kind of twines or reeds. I do not know what kind of filler they use between them so the boat doesn't leak. Apparently there is a tour one can take to watch the tribal members make the boats and smoke fish etc. but I didn't go on that tour as I wasn't there long enough.

If I ever have a farm...I would really like to own a donkey...and that's a dream from young..Now Miri has a few horses owned by a very very rich man who is a "ferocious" collector of things.....Nice photos. Had ostrich steak once only . Prices are now @RM35.00 in better outlets.
