FSO: Human Labour

An ice-cream vendor gives up his holiday and pays off. He did a roariing business.

Camera personnel during the festival.

The Zero waste preachers are out at work during our Waitangi Day. It is the passion of these workers to spend a holiday collecting and sorting rubbish.

The theme for September 2 is Human Labor. City workers, store clerks, libraries, street cleaners, window washers, police, fireman, artist. I think you get the idea. Show us the laborers of your town that make it what it is today and keep it going on a daily basis. Show us the common, unique or off the beaten path laborers.

HAPPY SHOOTING!!

There's really a lot of work done in the background of our lives that we don't always stop to think about.

Yes, a lot of hard work done yet sometimes we're not being appreciative!

Waste is horrible . I beleive in recycling. When people throw good pieces of furniture when they move, I cannot help but when they throw away things that can be baggesd I like to take them to the Goodwill.

Doing work like these is fun specially when we are with people with the same purpose and goal in life. Looks like you all have fun.

Good shoot-out, Ann. Many hands make light work, huh? Except for the Property Manager, I wonder if he gets lots of help.

Great collection of workers and people watching workers. And God bless the ice cream vendors of the world!

Ann what a very nice post in honor of the Human Labor force. Lovely pictures too. Mom especially liked the reference to ice cream.

sorry for being so late. a very good shoot out Ann. I agree with Jama. everyday simple laborers which probably do not get appreciated for what they do.
