English Fruit Cake

My friend A, she is a great friend. I value her for who she is.

In Singapore, she was a faithful supporter of my Foodsale, though she was not on the committee. She was one of those that I tell people in my PR exercise, she not only contributed food to the sale, she also bought.

She made this fruit cake, and she gave me her English recipe and taught me how to make it.She also made Ratatouille, a traditional French dish made of eggplants, tomatoes and zucchini. Her other dish was curry lamb.

We have known each other for almost twenty years. We still keep in contact and she visited Auckland last year and stayed with me. She is a gem, and one seldom gets such a good friend.
