School Science

Today for our middle school children, they got a treat from a father of one of the boys. He came to demonstrate how water can be used to power a rocket. As the rockets were launched, the children went oooh! Ahhh!. It wasn't easy for the little children as they pumped the rocket launcher. They cheered when their teacher R set off the last rocket.

I do experiments with my own children, with D, we made an erupting volcano with play dough and baking soda and vinegar. Based on the same principle, Sam and I made vinegar and baking soda bombs and as boy, Sam had great fun bombing our driveway and see the fizzy bomb explode.

My dad used to do experiments with us, and I have learned it from him.
