Sunflower 2

Sunflower seeds are very good for you. My friend from China tells me that it is good for your brain and encourages me to buy them for my children. These seeds will increase their thinking capacity and retain what they have learned. A.W. said.

You can buy them in their shells, or shelled one with just the kernels. Some blanched or roasted and eat them as a snack, or add them to your favourite salad.

When the cinemas in Malaysia had the air conditioning installed, smoking were banned. The cleaners of the cinemas complained that cinema patrons were leaving the empty shells on the floor making their job extra difficult.

You can buy cooking oil made of sunflower seeds. It is high in the essential vitamin E and low in saturated fat.
