Emu Down Wind farm. West Australia.
Back in the 1980s, I watched Aussie Actor Mel Gibson act in the Movie Mad Max movie. It affected me so much that I vowed never to watch motor sports where they use gas as though there is no tomorrow or as though gas will run on forever.
It is good in the home country of Mel, that they have these wind farms. In the South Island in New Zealand, they try to build them, but are faced with opposition. NZ Windfarm's first project is a 48.5 MW wind farm situated on the Tararua Ranges near Palmerston North
