Red Sunflowers

I have never seen these burgundy red sun flowers. They were grown in a private garden in Sandringham. They are tall plants. Or are they sun flowers?

I have grown yellow sunflowers in Singapore.

Hi Sandy,

I drove past a florist near my school, and they were selling red sunflowers. I wonder if they are genetically modified, or are they a product of the crude science experiment where we dip celery stalk or a stalk of white flower into a red dye.

The sun flowers I took were from a garden, home grown, that is why they are not perfect.
